WHO IS RUTH?
In 1954, Ruth Anderson started selling geraniums, tomatoes, peppers, and poinsettias from a greenhouse her husband Paul built her by hand, right beside their home in Newport News.
That homemade greenhouse grew into Anderson's, on the very same ground.
Ruth's Coffee Co. carries her name because it carries her idea: grow it yourself, do it with care, and share it with your neighbors.
